WEMYSS LAUNCH LATEST BATCH OF SINGLE CASK WHISKIES

Multi-award winning, Edinburgh based boutique spirits company Wemyss Malts, has announced the launch of their latest batch of single cask whiskies.

Their latest Midsummer batch comprises of nine Speyside, Highland and Islay single casks, ranging from between 18 and 27 Years Old.

As per all Wemyss Single Cask releases, the descriptive names of the whiskies are based on the flavours and aromas discovered by the Wemyss tasting panel, led by the watchful eye of industry aficionado Charlie Maclean.

The full single cask list of this release comprises of: 

"Arbor in Bloom" 1995 Single Cask Glen Grant – Speyside
"Summer Breeze" 1995 Single Cask Linkwood - Speyside
"Spiced Rum Baba" 1988 Single Cask Glenrothes - Speyside
"Fields of Barley" 1990 Single Cask Bunnahabhain - Islay
"Lemon Buttered Kippers" 18 Year Old Single Cask Bunnahabhain - Islay
"Briny Tangle" 25 Year Old Single Cask Bowmore - Islay
"Banquet of Fruits" 21 Year Old Single Cask Aberfeldy - Highlands
"Nuts about Pears" 24 Year Old Single Cask Blair Athol - Highlands
"Mocha Moment" 27 Year Old Single Cask Single Grain Invergordon
Commenting on the latest batch of releases, William Wemyss, Founder and Managing Director at Wemyss Malts, said: “As there are more hours of daylight today, we've released a larger batch of nine single casks to provide an opulent choice of drams to enjoy through the long evening light. This latest batch of Wemyss Malts Single Casks, will be available in limited quantities from selected retailers in the UK, EU and key Asian markets later this month, with RRP’s ranging from £80.00 to £150.00.
