BLACK BUTTON DISTILLING LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION COLLABORATIVE BOTTLING

Black Button Distilling in Rochester - New York, has announced the launch of a very limited edition collaborative whiskey.

Black Button Collaboration Whiskey (42% ABV) has been produced from hand-selected bottles of whiskeys from Black Button Distilling and The O’Begley Distillery. Chosen by their respective head distillers, the whiskeys were blended together and remarried in bourbon barrels until the required flavour profiles had developed.

Limited to 642 bottles, Black Button Collaboration Whiskey is said to be soft and subtle and have notes of oak, malt, honey and brown sugar.

Commenting on the release, Jason Barrett, Black Button Distilling Owner & Head Distiller, said: “Black Button and O’Begley have grown up alongside each other in Rochester. What I love most about craft distilling is that we come together as a community to help each other. To put our collective skills together for this unique blend of whiskey has been a great learning experience and an opportunity to bring a unique bottling to the Rochester community.”

Black Button Distilling is the first grain-to-glass craft distillery in Rochester - New York, since prohibition. Founded in 2012 and housed in a 5,000-square-foot space near Rochester’s historic Public Market, Black Button Distilling specializes in farm to still products, using unique and all-natural ingredients from local farms to craft 1,450 bottles of award-winning spirits each week.

Black Button Collaboration Whiskey, is now available from Black Button Distilling, The O’Begley Distillery and from specialist retailers across the US for a RRP of $49.99.
