Laphroaig Lore (48% ABV) is a complex marriage of both classical Laphroaig styles and ages, ranging from between 7 and 21 years old.

The marriage draws from the peaty power of Laphroaig in the same vein as its Quarter Cask bottling but with the smoothness of double matured stock finished in European oak hogsheads and ex bourbon barrels.
Commenting on the launch, John Campbell, Laphroaig’s Distillery Manager, said: “Laphroaig Lore is the story of Laphroaig itself. It is the epitome of what one expects from a non-chill filtered Laphroaig single malt whisky, all delightful seaside minerals, smoke, fudge, vanillas and nuts on the nose, exceptionally rich, peaty and a spicy chili-like bite to taste, then dry and sweet to finish. Wonderfully balanced, it’s our story, bottled, the richest of the rich.”
Laphroaig Lore is now available exclusively to its Friends of Laphroaig members for £76.50 but will be available from specialist retailers later this month following its official launch.
