Bacardi has announced the release of a new Tennessee white corn whiskey brand, which will see its first two variants roll out across the US following its initial launch in Nashville.

Bonnie Rose - Orange Peel (35% ABV) and Spiced Apple (35% ABV) Tennessee white corn whiskies are said to offer a slice of southern Americana capturing a sense of empowerment, optimism and zest for life.

Some say Bonnie Rose was a distiller's daughter who grew up around the barrel room; others say she was a bartender who mixed a mean whiskey sour. Legend has it she had a taste for good whiskey and a unique Southern style all her own.

Distilled in copper pot stills using an 80% white corn mash, Bonnie Rose has a playfully irreverent rallying cry of "Life, Liberty and Liquor" encouraging all to live life boldly, independently and passionately.

Commenting on the launch, Dan Pilas, Brand Managing Director for Bonnie Rose, said:  "We are very excited to tap into the explosive flavoured whiskey category that drinkers have proven to love over the last few years.  We are confident people will love the great taste of Bonnie Rose – slightly sweet, with a kick and a whole lot of character."

Following its Nashville launch this week, Bonnie Rose Orange Peel and Spiced Apple will be rolling out across the US and will retail for a RRP of $18.99.
