Said to be richly spiced on the nose and sweet stewed fruit fused with spice on the palate, this limited edition bottling has been created using Speyside malts from distilleries including Mortlach, Macallan and Glenrothes.
Commenting on the news, Fred Laing, Douglas Laing’s Managing Director, said: “This Cask Strength Scallywag bottling makes the wee dog’s eyes pop, his ears blow open and his monocle ping - but it will make your palate sing. The mellifluously fruity, spicy character and barley, mocha, vanilla and orange-y flavours make it a human treat worth begging for.”
Limited to just 1,000 cases globally, Douglas Laing’s Scallywag Cask Strength will be available from specialist retailers later this month for a RRP of £50.00
