The launch follows on from the hugely successful release of Kilbeggan 18 Year Old, which was named Best Blended Irish Whiskey at the 2012 World Whiskies Awards.

Kilbeggan Distilling Co, Master Blender Noel Sweeney meticulously selected old grain and malt whiskies, which were then expertly blended and matured in ex-bourbon, port, madeira and sherry casks.
Commenting on the launch, Beam Suntory’s Global Travel Retail Marketing Director, Michael Cockram said: “This premium, limited edition Kilbeggan expression is a prime example of the craft that goes into making this fine Irish whiskey. Kilbeggan 21 Year Old is the first of two new releases for travel retail and offers consumers the chance to experience a super-premium whiskey from a renowned distillery with strong traditions and heritage.”
Kilbeggan 21 Year Old is described as having complex, sweet and smooth notes, complemented by its years of ageing that would appeal to super-premium blend consumers.
Kilbeggan 21 Year Old will be available later this month from European Travel Retail outlets for a RRP of €99.
