Big Peat 27 Years Old Black Edition (48.3% ABV) which is limited to just 3,000 bottles, is an Islay blended malt Scotch whisky.

This latest release, follows on from their 25 Year Old Gold Edition, which launched in 2017, and last year’s 26 Years Old Platinum Edition.
Big Peat 27 Years Old Black Edition, is said to deliver notes of chimney smoke, briney sea air, leather and honey on the nose. Followed by notes of barbequed meats, coal dust, rock salt and peat smoke on the palate.
Established in 2009, the Big Peat range has celebrated its 10th anniversary throughout 2019, kicking off celebrations with a 10 Years Old Limited Edition followed by extensive digital activation including an online birthday party and social media content.
Big Peat 27 Years Old Black Edition, will be available from specialist retailers in January. RRP (tbc).
