SULLIVANS COVE LAUNCHES ITS LATEST FRENCH OAK SINGLE CASK BOTTLING

The Sullivans Cove distillery, has announced the launch of its latest French Oak single cask, single malt whisky.

Sullivans Cove French Oak Single Cask TD0288 (47.6% ABV) has been matured for 10 years and 11 months, in a 300 litre French oak first fill ex-tawny cask.

This latest release from the Tasmania based distillery, is said to deliver notes of burnt toffee, cherry blossom, orange peel, dried fruits and cocoa.

Not only does Sullivans Cove French Oak Single Cask TD0288, come presented in the brands new and improved presentation box, it also marks the start of a new era for the distillery, with all their new single cask whiskies being bottled unflocked and unfiltered.

Commenting on the whisky, Heather Tillott, Production Manager at Sullivans Cove, said: "In the latter half of a Hobart winter, this whisky is just what the doctor ordered; a reminder of all the beautiful things about the cold nights like warm spices and preserved orchard fruits, but looking toward the spring to come with the fresh blossoms of next summer's citrus."

Sullivans Cove French Oak Single Cask TD0288, is now available directly from the Sullivans Cove online store, for a RRP of $550.00 AUS.
