Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2019 Edition (53% ABV) is a blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskeys, matured in Bourbon barrels.

This latest release from the series which first launched in 2011, is said to deliver notes of delicate spice, natural sweetness and cracked black pepper on the nose. Followed by notes of roasted walnuts, honeyed oats, sugar-dusted raisins and apricots on the palate.
Commenting on the launch, Bernard Walsh, Founder of Walsh Whiskey, said: “This limited release is eagerly anticipated every year. Those who possess a bottle are encouraged, but not required, to share the experience!”
Writers’ Tears Cask Strength 2019 Edition, will be available later this month in limited quantities, in existing markets, for a RRP of €130.00.
