Former bartender Alex Walker, who has taken on the role with immediate effect, will now be focusing on elevating awareness of the brand and bridging communications between Glenfiddich and consumers, bars, restaurants, retailers and the press.

Commenting on the news, Alex Walkser, said: “I am extremely excited to be joining the William Grant & Sons UK family. Alex takes over from Stephen Rutherford, who previously held the role up until last year, when he took on the position of Glenfiddich UK Brand Manager.
