Teeling Whiskey, has announced the launch of the first bottling in a new limited-edition series, in partnership with Aer Rianta International, to help celebrate the upcoming unveiling of the newly redeveloped retail outlet at Terminal 2 in Dublin Airport.

Teeling launches new whiskey collection which pays homage to Dublin airport

Limited to just 6,000 bottles, the Teeling Collinstown Collection, takes its name from the address of the original Dublin Airport, which officially opened at 9:00am on January 19, 1940.

This is the first time an Irish whiskey has ever been finished in ex-Loupiac wine casks, and the resulting whiskey is said to have taken on a very fruit forward taste profile, while being accompanied by a balanced yet robust, long finish.

Commenting on the launch, Stephen Teeling, Sales & Marketing Director of Teeling Whiskey, said: “We are delighted to partner with Aer Rianta International on The Collinstown Collection. ARI, through ‘The Irish Whiskey Collection’, has been massive advocates for Irish whiskey and one of the biggest supporters of the current renaissance we are experiencing in the category. It is great that we could craft this very special whiskey exclusively for them.”

Teeling Whiskey Collinstown Collection Batch 1, is now available to purchase exclusively through The Irish Whiskey Collection at The Loop, Dublin and Cork Airports, for a RRP of €65.00.
