BENRIACH LAUNCHES BATCH 14 OF ITS SINGLE CASK BOTTLINGS

The multi-award winning, Elgin based BenRiach Distillery Company, has today announced the launch of its latest batch of single cask bottlings.

BenRiach Single Casks Batch 14, is comprised of 7 single malts, which range from between 9 and 12 years old in age.

The casks of both unpeated and peated malt are said to reflect the distillery’s experimental approach to distilling and cask maturation. Batch 14 features first fill Oloroso sherry butts, port pipes, a first fill virgin oak cask, a first fill marsala hogshead and a Pedro Ximenez sherry puncheon.

2005 Cask #2565 – 12 YO - First Fill Oloroso Sherry - 58.8% ABV
2007 Cask #101 - 10 YO - First Fill Oloroso Sherry (Peated) - 61.9% ABV
2007 Cask #105 - 10 YO - First Fill Oloroso Sherry (Peated) - 62.2% ABV
2008 Cask #2047 – 9 YO - Port Pipe (Peated) - 63.2% ABV
2006 Cask #7360 – 10 YO - First Fill Virgin Oak Cask - 58.9% ABV
2005 Cask #2679 – 12 YO - First Fill Port Pipe (Peated) - 53.1% ABV
