GLENDRONACH LAUNCHES ITS LATEST BATCH OF SINGLE CASK BOTTLINGS

The GlenDronach Distillery, has announced the launch of its fifteenth batch of single cask bottlings, comprised of whiskies aged from twenty-one to twenty-seven years in age.

The six whiskies released in Glendronach’s Single Cask Batch 15, ​have been drawn from either Pedro Ximenez or Oloroso sherry casks. The oldest cask in the batch; 1990 cask #7005 - PX Sherry Puncheon, is 27 years old.

The full line up of Glendronach’s Single Cask Batch 15 bottlings:

1990 cask #7005 - 27 Year Old / PX Sherry Puncheon (53.4% ABV)
1992 cask #52 - 25 Year Old / Sherry Butt (58.5% ABV)
1992 cask #89 – 25 Year Old / Sherry Butt (57% ABV)
1993 cask #43 - 24 Year Old / Sherry Butt (59.2% ABV)
1994 cask #3379 - 22 Year Old / PX Sherry Puncheon (51.6% ABV)
1995 cask #4418 - 21 Year Old / PX Sherry Puncheon (52.6% ABV)

Commenting on the launch, Rachel Barrie, Whisky Maker at the BenRiach Distillery Co, owner of GlenDronach, said: “Aficionados of The GlenDronach will not be disappointed with this latest Batch, picked from the richest and deepest casks in our earthen-floored warehouses. I am privileged and delighted to see them released from their slumber, for enjoyment by discerning connoisseurs around the world; as time slowly passes, I anticipate the unearthing of more hidden gems.”

All six bottlings in Glendronach’s Single Cask Batch 15, will be available later this month from specialist retailers. RRP’s (tbc).
