HEAVEN HILL ANNOUNCES ITS NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF OPERATIONS

Heaven Hill Brands, has announced that Master Distiller Denny Potter, has been appointed as its new Vice President of Operations.

In addition to his current distilling responsibilities, Denny will provide strategic direction and leadership for all Heaven Hill production operations, including the Bernheim Distillery in Louisville and the Bardstown Bottling Operations.

Previously, Denny served as Master Distiller and Plant Manager at the Bernheim Distiullery, overseeing production of the world’s second-largest inventory of aging Bourbon.

Since joining Heaven Hill in 2013, the company has substantially expanded production at the Bernheim Distillery while continuing the company’s storied reputation for authenticity and world renowned, award-winning brands, including Evan Williams, Elijah Craig, Larceny and Henry McKenna.

Commenting on the news, Max L. Shapira, President of Heaven Hill Brands, said: “Since joining Heaven Hill, Denny has been a tremendous asset to both our distillery and American whiskey brands, as well as our entire Heaven Hill operations team. We are fortunate to have his knowledge and talents utilized across all of Heaven Hill Brands.”

Under Denny’s leadership, the company was awarded the Whiskey Magazine “Distiller of the Year” honour in 2016.
