Jason Pan who joined the Wemyss team this month, will be based in Taiwan. Jason has extensive spirits sales and marketing experience in the region, including past roles with Morrison Bowmore, Brown Forman, Diageo and Pernod Ricard.

Jason's appointment has also enabled the realignment of its two existing regional sales managers, Jacque Sutherland and Ginny Boswell, who will now be able to spend more time on their key markets in the UK and Europe.
Commenting on the news, William Wemyss, Managing Director of Wemyss Malts, said: “I am delighted to welcome Jason to the company. The Asia Pacific region represents a great growth opportunity for our whiskies and gin brands and Jason's local market presence will enable us to strengthen our relationships with current distributors, as well as building our presence in new markets.”
Wemyss Malts spirits portfolio currently consists of their: Single Cask batch releases, The Spice King, The Peat Chimney, The Hive and Lord Elcho blended whiskies, and their Darnley’s View boutique gin.
