As per Wemyss’s standard Hive, Spice King and Peat Chimney blended malt bottlings, each of the new Batch Strength expressions, also utilises a series of signature malts to define their flavour and aroma as their names suggests.

Commenting on the launch, William Wemyss, Founder and Managing Director at Wemyss Malts, said: “Our new Batch Strength blended malts, consist of just 6000 bottles each, providing the whisky enthusiast and adventurous consumer with more variety in their choice of blended malts. Our Batch Strength range is intensely enjoyable neat, with ice and makes the perfect ingredient for quality, short whisky cocktails such as the Old Fashioned or Rob Roy.”

The Hive Batch Strength 001, Spice King Batch Strength 001 and Peat Chimney Batch Strength 001, will be available later this month from specialist retailers for a RRP of £50.00 each.
