Big Peat Edinburgh Edition (46% ABV) honours Scotland’s capital, with iconic landmarks prominently displayed on the bottle’s label and gift tube, featuring travel stamps of Waverley Station, The Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle.

Launched in 2009, Big Peat is part of Douglas Laing & Co’s Remarkable Malts collection, made up of The Epicurean from the Lowlands, Timorous Beastie from the Highlands, Scallywag from Speyside, Rock Oyster from the Islands and Big Peat from Islay.
Commenting on the launch, Cara Laing, Director of Whisky at Douglas Laing & Co, said: “Big Peat’s Edinburgh Edition is bottled in line with the Douglas Laing philosophy; proudly without colouring or chill-filtration, and at a high alcohol strength. Limited to 180 bottles, Big Peat Edinburgh Edition, will be available from specialist retailers later this month for a RRP of £50.00.
