Woodford Reserve Five Malt (45.2% ABV) has been distilled from malt mash, then aged in recycled double oaked barrels for six months.

Inspired by the popularity of micro-breweries, Five Malt's distinctive flavour profile is said to have been established within the grain recipe and aging process, and to obtain the desired sensory elements, wood exposure has been kept to a minimum.
Woodford Reserve’s Distillery Series, was launched by the Kentucky based distillery in 2015, and highlights the brands ongoing dedication to innovation and craftsmanship. Woodford Reserve Master Distiller is said to have perfected Five Malt, to be a one of a kind whiskey that tastes and smells unique from the initial Distillery Series releases.
Commenting on the launch, Chris Morris, said: "Five Malt is another great example of flavour-focused innovation practiced at the Woodford Reserve Distillery. We take pride in our ability to create unique types of whiskey above and beyond expressions most commonly seen on shelves."
Woodford Reserve Five Malt, is now available from the distillery and select specialist retailers in Kentucky, for a RRP of $49.99.
