Teeling Whiskey 2016 Single Barrel Release (59.7% ABV) consists of 13 Year Old Single Malt Irish whiskey distilled in 2002; initially matured in ex-bourbon barrels for 12 years, before being finished in ex-white port barrels from the Carcavelos region of Portugal.

The Teeling Whiskey Company is the first whiskey distillery to use ex-white port barrels from the Carcavelos region of Portugal, which is said to deliver a truly unique taste that works perfectly with the underlying characteristics of Irish whiskey.
Commenting on the launch, Jack Teeling, Founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company, said: “We are delighted to be able to release such unique and innovative expressions of Teeling whiskey in the U.S. for St. Patrick’s Day. The Teeling Whiskey 2016 Single Barrel Release, will be available from specialist retailers across the US, in time for St. Patrick’s Day, for a RRP of $85.00
