Meadowside Blending is a family firm based in Glasgow, founded by Donald Hart and his son Andrew, who together bring over half a century of experience in the Scotch whisky industry.

The new ‘The Grainman’ brand, now joins the company’s whisky portfolio alongside its ‘The Maltman’ range of single malts and its ‘The Royal Thistle’ blended Scotch whiskies.

Commenting on the launch of the new single grain whisky brand, Andy Hart, Director of Meadowside Blending, said: " We have been impressed with the quality of these single cask grain whiskies, and we wanted to offer our customers something different to choose from. As we are a family business, we thought our Maltman range needed a ”new wee brother." Like our Maltman bottlings, The Grainman will also be un-chilfiltered and have no added colouring and all casks will be bottled at cask strength."

In addition to the Cambus 25 Year Old, ‘The Grainman’ range will also initially include Strathclyde Bourbon cask and Port Dundas Oloroso sherry finished bottlings.

The Grainman – Cambus 25 Year Old will be available next month from specialist retailers. RRP tbc.
