JACK DANIEL'S OLD NO 27 GOLD WHISKEY LAUNCHES IN THE UK

Brown-Forman has announced the UK release of Jack Daniel’s No 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey, following its initial successful launch in Travel Retail.

Jack Daniel’s No 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey (40% ABV) is matured twice, firstly in new charred white oak barrels then in maple barrels, before being mellowed twice through a sugar maple charcoal filtration process.

This latest release which comes packaged in a bottle that pays homage to the iconic Jack Daniel’s Old No 7, with its own distinct gold label and box, is said to deliver luxurious hints of maple and an exceedingly smooth finish.

Commenting on the news, Nidal Ramini, Head of Brand Advocacy at Brown-Forman, said: “The arrival of Jack Daniel’s No 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey in the UK is testament to the increasing popularity of American whiskey we’re seeing in both the on- and off-trade at the moment. The category is currently worth over £540m in the UK and growing by 14.8% and demand for high-end whiskeys with real provenance and heritage has never been higher.”

He went on to say: “With only 500 cases produced, Jack Daniel’s No 27 Gold really showcases the great skill and craftsmanship of the team at the distillery in Lynchburg, so we’re confident that existing whiskey drinkers and those trying a high-end American whiskey for the first time will be impressed by its quality and rich smooth taste.”

Jack Daniel’s No 27 Gold Tennessee Whiskey, will be available from selected retailers across the UK later this month.
