BOWMORE LAUNCHES LIMITED EDITION SINGLE MALT FINISHED IN JAPANESE MIZUNARA CASKS

Beam Suntory has announced the launch of a no age statement Bowmore expression, which has been finished in rare Japanese Mizunara casks.

Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish (53.9% ABV) is made from whisky that has been matured in specially selected ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, before being finished for three years in Japanese Mizunara casks.

East Meets West - Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish

This East meets West bottling, is said to be the first ever Islay single malt to be finished in the normally difficult to work with Japanese Mizunara oak casks.

Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish, is said to deliver a spicy, mellow sweetness, carried on a fresh ocean breeze on the nose, followed by notes of sweet vanilla, cedar wood, exotic mango and honey rose blossom on the palate.

Limited to 2000 bottles, Bowmore Mizunara Cask Finish will be available from selected specialist retailers from September 1st, for a RRP of £650.
