THE ENGLISH WHISKY CO RELEASE THEIR MOST EXCLUSIVE WHISKY TO DATE

The English Whisky Co has announced the release of The Founders Private Cellar Final Signature case, containing their most exclusive whiskies to date.

Prior to passing away last year, Founder of The English Whisky Co, James Nelstrop, had instigated a final bottling to be chosen from the families private stock, made up from two of his favourite casks; a 6 Year Old Peated Sherry Cask 55.7% ABV and a 7 Year Old Rum Cask 55.1% ABV.

These bottlings which will be the last ever to carry James' signature, form part of The Founders Private Cellar Final Signature, a special limited edition leather suitcase, that also contains four engraved glass tumblers, one red china water jug, one founders autobiography and two certificates of authenticity (one for each bottle).

Commenting on the release, Andrew Nelstrop, Owner of The English Whisky Co, said: “This is a particularly poignant and special release for The English Whisky Co. Not only is it extremely personal, as this will be the last whisky chosen for bottling by the distilleries’ founder, my father James; we also believe it is the oldest English Whisky ever to be released to the public. The whisky is incredibly rare and special and a real tribute to our distillers.”

Limited to just 238 cases, The Founders Private Cellar Final Signature will be available from March 26th for a RRP of £795.
