Asda's new Tasgall 30 Year Old blended Scotch whisky to retail for £60.00 |
Expertly blended in Scotland using the highest quality Speyside and Highland malt whiskies with grain whisky from the Lowlands, the two whiskies deliver exceptional taste at a fraction of the cost of similar products.
Casting their eye over the current market, experts at Asda have noticed a shift change in tastes towards richer flavours and darker spirits, and as the winter nights set in, Brits are stocking up the cabinet on this classic warming tipple to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes.
Commenting on the launch, Dave Cresswell, Spirits Buyer at Asda, said: “At Asda we’ve invested much time and research into creating the best quality blended whiskies that stands up against more expensive competitors available. Sold anywhere else these whiskies would sell for £100s so we are really proud to offer our customers stunning quality at an affordable price. Not only that, but we have ensured all our stores from Perth to Portsmouth will be fully stocked, meaning if you want to treat yourself, or anyone else, this Christmas you won’t be disappointed.”
Asda’s Extra Special – Tasgall blended whisky range, will be available at 207 Asda stores nationwide and online.
